The capstone project is required of all students majoring in Information Technology. The purpose of the capstone project is to establish a program of study that enables students to achieve competence in a real world experience at managing a project and solving problems.
The capstone
project consists of two successive courses (Fall and Winter)
taken during their senior year. These courses are IT 446
(Fall) and IT 447 (Winter). Students are required to have
finished all their previous IT courseware before they
are allowed to enroll in these courses. Students enter into group assignments with an assigned project.
Completion date and presentation for school year 2007 - 2208 is scheduled for April 5, 2008, 3380 Wilkinson Center, 8:30 am - 11:30 am.
