| Fritz B. Burns IT Scholarship |
Scholarship awards are intended to help students who indicate a strong potential to benefit the IT profession. |
Awards will be based on academic performance, need, and overall success in the major. Preference will be given
to students who demonstrate involvement in the profession through professional societies (eg IEEE), previous experience
and commitment. Financial need is also taken into consideration. GPA is only one of the factors considered. |

Undergraduate winner or team will receive s $15,000. Grand Prize is $25,000. |
This is a competition for inventors. There are all sorts of submissions. Students must
be enrolled (or have been enrolled) full-time in any U.S. or Canadian college or university at
least part of the 12-month period prior to the date the entry is submitted. |

| Microsoft Undergraduate Scholarships |
Up to 100% tuition for the following academic year. |
Students majoring in Information Technology or other computer related degree with at least a 3.0 GPA.
A large majority of the scholarships will be awarded to female students, underrepresented minority students,
and students with disabilities, but all students are eligible. |
